Storyline

Plot Summary:Out in California’s San Fernando Valley, Isabel is trying to reinvent herself. A naГЇve, good-natured witch, she is determined to disavow her supernatural powers and lead a normal life. At the same time, across town, Jack Wyatt a tall, charming actor is trying to get his career back on track. He sets his sights on an updated version of the beloved 1960s situation comedy Bewitched, re-conceived as a starring vehicle for himself in the role of the mere-mortal Darrin. Fate steps in when Jack accidentally runs into Isabel. He is immediately attracted to her and her nose, which bears an uncanny resemblance to the nose of Elizabeth Montgomery, who played Samantha in the original TV version of Bewitched. He becomes convinced she could play the witch Samantha in his new series. Isabel is also taken with Jack, seeing him as the quintessential mortal man with whom she can settle down and lead the normal life she so desires. It turns out they’re both right—but in ways neither of them ever imagined.

Resolved Question: Rasengon vs Chidori, which is better?
Which one is overall better? here’s my opinion on the subject:
Both rasengon and chidori have proved to be fatal. Kakashi killed haku with lightning blade, an improved form of chidori, and Naruto killed a corrupt sand jounin who was being controlled by Itachi, with the great ball rasengon. In terms of destructive power i think rasengon withs hands down. It seems to grind everthing it touches to a million pieces, while chidori acts more like an unstoppable dagger that punctures whatever it comes in contact with.

Resolved Question: Is flea treatment for dog poisonous to cats?
I would like to give a flea treatment to my dog.I have a product that is very similar to Frontline. (It is Adams brand). However, I am worried about how to do it without hurting my cats. On the front of the package it says, "DO NOT APPLY TO CATS" Then, on the inside, it says this, "DO NOT USE ON CATS! May be toxic and potentially fatal if applied to or ingested by cats. Cats that actively groom or engage in close physical contactwith recently treated dogs may be at risk for serious harmful effects" Obviously, I don’t want to apply it to them, but I’m just worried about them coming into contact with it. This treatment is but on the dogs back between her shoulder blades. It gradually seeps into her fur and onto her skin. My cats and dog do not groom eachother, but they do lay on the same carpet, brush up against the same couch, etc. I am worried that they will come into contact with it indirectly. So, I’m thinking I have to give it to the dog, and keep the cats in a different room? For how long? How long will they be separated before it is safe? Has anyone had experience with this. Thanks!

Storyline

Plot Summary:Cookie’s Fortune unfolds over an eventful Easter weekend in the small town of Holly Springs, Mississippi. seeing my boyfriend for the first time in 8 months?
I haven’t seen my boyfriend in 8 months, so I’m a bit worried about Friday.
I’m going up to see him in Scotland for his birthday. It’s a long distance relationship, both have been faithful, it’s just through unlucky circumstances that we’re so far apart.
Anyway, I’m as nervous as hell. I’m not looking my best at the moment is just the cherry on the top of a hundred worries. I’m scared that, while we’ve been getting on so so so well via the phone, that I’m going to be a disappointment again in the flesh. That we’ll be having sex is a given, but my only experiences were with him before he had to go away so I’m a bit like bambi in that respect, I don’t know what to do! Haha. He’s older, experienced and perfect.
Then after a disastrous sex session comes what im fearing will be awkward, gappy conversation and me revealling that I’m completely do-lally and peculiar.
I can’t wait for to see him, I miss him so much, but I’m dreading it so much!

Pregnant goats…Maybe? Help diagnose please?
So, I have two milking goats. They were exposed to a pygmy buck for 2 months. January and Febuary. I do not know if it caught, and i do not kno if they are really pregnant. I was estimating that they would be due in June at some point. Well, the one is semi-round. The other is pretty large. the pretty large one has a bag filling up i think, so i was worried whats going on if they ARE pregnant. I felt their bellies for kicking, but felt nada. i have pictures from a week or so and today. the white one (Billie) is the one with the filling bag i think.the brown one (Bambi) is the smaller sized one. Billie has bloated before to look pregnant but wasn’t before that makes me so unsure. Any ideas on how far they are and whats going on? Pretty vauge, sorry. Storyline

Plot Summary:Jack Elgin is the European editor of The Economist, which is based in London, England. Jack has a wife named Maria and three kids named Joanne, Julia, and Andrew. Jack subtly changes the family vacation from a lazy week of Mediterranean fun and sun in Corfu, Greece, to a tour of India, because of a story he has to cover. Maria is not as impressed by this as the kids are. Jack himself envisioned a chance to simultaneously work an easy reporting assignment and spend a little quality time with his family. But on the way to India, the airplane, a 747 owned by AM Air, an American airline, makes an unscheduled stopover in Limassol Cyprus, because of a mechanical problem. After a while of waiting inside the Limassol airport, everyone gets back on the plane — which is then hijacked by a group of terrorists known as the August 15th Movement, led by a Serbian man named Ivanic Loyvek and his right-hand man Karadan Maldic. And they are demanding $50,000,000 from the US State Department in one hour, or everyone on the airplane will die. The demand is met, and Loyvek and Maldic start releasing the women and children, with the men to go last. But as soon as a front passenger door is opened, a local police team gunning for the terrorists opens fire. The flight attendants frantically open the rest of the airplane’s doors and start getting passengers out, but the terrorists start killing passengers, leading to an explosion. Maria, Joanne, and Julia get out of the airplane, and then Jack, holding Andrew, gets out — only to watch Maria, Joanne, and Julia get shot by the terrorists. Jack tries to hide Andrew’s face so he can’t see it. Maria and Joanne are dead, and Julia is still alive — but Julia burns to death while crying for help. Jack and Andrew survive. In all, a total of 15 passengers die, and Loyvek and Maldic, the surviving terrorists, escape, knowing that they now have the $50,000,000. The hijacking would never have ended this way if the police team had waited until after the passengers were released from the airplane before getting trigger happy. Back in London, an absolutely devastated Jack is told that the terrorists were captured, but they were released and deported secretly, with no charges and no arrest, the result of some awfully compromised politics. Jack is understandably enraged that Loyvek and Maldic got off scot-free. While helping Andrew cope, Jack tries all the legal ways to ensure justice for his family, but to no avail. Jack even pays a visit to Henry Davidson, a CIA agent who works at the American Embassy in London. Davidson tells Jack that there’s little that can be done. Obviously, the American and British governments are completely impotent when it comes to going after Loyvek and Maldic, so Jack has absolutely no choice in the matter. He must do it himself. With the help of his ex-intelligence operative friend Kate Stockton, who is well-schooled in the finer points of international intelligence, Jack becomes a one-man anti-terrorist squadron, searching for Loyvek and Maldich. Dogging Jack’s trail is FBI agent Jules Bernard, who’s cooperating with Scotland Yard on anti-terrorist activities, and who suspects that Jack is the man who has been killing anyone involved in the hijacking. But as it turns out, Jules is on Jack’s side, and he’s willing to help Jack make those responsible pay for the deaths of his family and the other people who died in Cyprus.

I have been reading Twilight fanfictions lately, I have really been into it. I was reading this part where they were getting close and they started kissing. Here is the part where it happened: She returned to me with her hair still wet, dressed in her pajamas. She wore a grey button down flannel night shirt with matching shorts. She looked like an angel. My angel. I couldn’t control myself, I had her in my arms so fast that I heard her gasp. I felt her body, pressed to mine, fill with excitement at my touch…. As did mine…. She looked deep into my eyes with desire…. I couldn’t hold back my need for her any longer…. I pulled her down onto my lap on her couch….my hand, so gently on her face…. Resolved Question: Angels and Demons book or Movie?
did you enjoy the book or movie. i personally enjoyed the book alot more. there were so many things left out like Kohler who i thought was an important part of the book. also, in the novel, it is so interesting how Langdon found out those clues but in this movie, it was seconday. here are a few differnces that i did not enjoy-1. Langdon didn’t ride the ultra high speed jet going to the Vatican.
2. The character Maximilian Kohler, CERN director, was not present.
3. The Camerlengo was Patrick McKenna; in the novel, he is named Carlo Ventresca.

I’m currently collecting the collectors edition and I’m well into the fourth season (last episode i saw as Doomed S4 Ep11). I can’t help but think that Buffy comes across as a little…i don’t know…selfish – Season 1 – whenever willow tried to talk to her about her love for Xander, Buffy always related it back to Angel – Season 2 – Buffy used Xander (well knowing that he liked her) to make Angel jealous or to supposedly ‘thank’ Xander
-Season 2 – She told Willow to try the re-souling spell when she knew full well it could get her into trouble – Season 2 – leaves Sunnydale and goes to L.A -Season 3 – Willow tries to talk to her about Oz, again, she relates it back to her and Angel -Season 4 – willow is upset that oz leaves. She is bawling her eyes out and the best Buffy can say is ‘it takes time’. -Season 4 – Willow depressed.Buffy ignores her to go get Spike (knowing full well he can do no harm because of the chip) NO SPOILERS PLEASE. Storyline

Christians, Dont you think this is Collective Punishment?
Accordingly, to my understanding, the Original Sin of Adam / Eve, means that billions of innocent people inherited the sin (collective punishment)….Now another innocent person must come along and be sacrified for all those poeple…..What sort of justice is this? Islam teaches us that Adam and Eve were taught words of repentence which they recited.. Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If thou forgive us not and have not mercy on us, surely we are of the lost! (Qur’an 7:23) … They were forgiven….It was an original lesson.. So that we can ask for forgiveness when we go astray…Doesnt need a blood sacrifice. What makes more sense?

Help with a pre cal problem… kinda already solved?
The question is to use a calculator to find all of the solutions of the equation. sin x= 3 cos x interval (0,2pie) So I have worked out sin x / cos x = 3 cos x /cos x tan x = 3 Principal Solution x= tan^-1 3 ~ 1.25 SP what I need to have explain to me is How do I know tan x (+) is in Quadrant 3? because I need to know that in order to understand why the other solutions is the original solution 1.25 + pie ~ 4.39 I also don’t understand why we chose to add pie to the 1.25 to get the ~ 4.39 ? Is that a standard thing to do add pie to your solution to get the next value for the equation with the calculator. Because if it is I would assume I need to do with with all of the rest of the problems like this one I encounter. Now..Danny was my favorite from the very beginning. I was rather shocked AND disappointed he got voted off tonight. Caring for my new kittens?
Okay so I have two pregnant cats….and a 5 month old puppy who plays rough bc he doesnt realize his own strength. So one cat is due any day and I’m not sure what to do. We have a two bedroom apartment, bathroom, livingroom and kitchen. The complicated thing is that I work at night. My point is that I’m afraid of my dog trying to "play" with the kittens. My roommate will not let the cat and kittens stay in her room, what about the bathroom? It’s no problem during the day bc Danny my dog goes outside but at night is my problem…..help please. I’m so worried. I love all of my animals and I dont want to sacrifice any of them for any other, understandable? Advice please!

Storyline

Plot Summary:Ken Park focuses on several teenagers and their tormented home lives. Shawn seems to be the most conventional. Tate is brimming with psychotic rage; Claude is habitually harassed by his brutish father and coddled, rather uncomfortably, by his enormously pregnant mother. Peaches looks after her devoutly religious father, but yearns for freedom. They’re all rather tight, or so they claim. But they spend precious little time together and none of them seems to know much about one another’s family lives. This bizarre dichotomy underscores their alienation # the result of suburban ennui, a teenager’s inherent sense of melodrama, and the disturbing nature of their home environments.

Perhaps the movie making industry will be forced to concentrate on quality, not marketability, for a change. Making movies, is one thing; making money is another. Vincent van Gogh died a pauper, as did Mozart and many other fine artists. Some of the best movies ever made have been produced on a shoe-string budget with the passion of the director and the actors eventually showing through. By Mike Collett-White CANNES, France (Reuters) – Light on A-list stars, extravagant parties and celebrity stunts, this year’s Cannes film festival has not escaped the global economic downturn.
That, many say, has been a blessing in disguise, allowing thousands of reporters, executives and Hollywood hopefuls in the French Riviera resort to concentrate on the movies themselves rather than the off-screen distractions.
Reaction to the 20-strong competition has been positive as Cannes hit the halfway stage on Monday, with a French prison drama, Jane Campion’s take on John Keats and Ken Loach’s picture headlined by soccer star Eric Cantona tipped as the early favorites for the coveted Palme d’Or.
And while there has been little buzz along the palm-lined Croisette waterfront, where Cannes’ late-night revelry is concentrated, Danish director Lars von Trier has got people talking with a movie that shocked and offended many who saw it.
"Antichrist," a sexually charged and violent horror starring Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg as a grieving couple, has stirred the kind of controversy Cannes organizers may welcome.
"Overall it’s a good Cannes so far," said film critic and author Mark Cousins, who defended von Trier for making a movie that he found innovative and surprising.
Whether a coincidence or a conscious decision by Hollywood studios to cut back on expensive outlays in Cannes, there have been noticeably fewer stars on the red carpet this year.
"When Mariah Carey is the biggest star by the end of week one, you know you’re in trouble," said one seasoned television producer, bemoaning the lack of celebrity wattage.
That said, Brad Pitt is expected with Quentin Tarantino’s World War Two film "Inglourious Basterds," and Penelope Cruz is in Cannes for Pedro Almodovar’s "Broken Embraces."
Paris Hilton reportedly flew into the festival and "Twilight" heartthrob Robert Pattinson appears on Tuesday.
While business on the market has been affected by the financial crisis, deals are still being made, champagne is flowing on board giant yachts moored off the harbor and wannabe directors and actors continue to look for their big break.
HITS AND MISSES
"A Prophet," directed by Jacques Audiard, is currently the frontrunner for the Golden Palm for best film awarded at the weekend, raising the possibility of two French winners in two years after "Entre Les Murs" (The Class), triumphed in 2008.
A Prophet stars Tahar Rahim as a young convict who must use his wits to survive in prison where he seeks to play one gang off against another. The film, according to trade publication Variety, "hit the Croisette like a thunderbolt."
Close behind in Screen International’s survey of critics is New Zealand-born Campion’s "Bright Star," about the affair between poet John Keats and Fanny Brawne. Campion is still the only woman to have won the Palme d’Or with "The Piano" in 1993.
British film maker Ken Loach’s "Looking for Eric" was cheered at a press screening on Monday, and compatriot Andrea Arnold won broad praise for her drama "Fish Tank."
Asian directors Park Chan-Wook ("Thirst"), Johnnie To ("Vengeance") and Lou Ye ("Spring Fever") fared less well.
Ang Lee’s "Taking Woodstock," about the legendary 1969 rock festival, was welcomed for its celebration of innocence, but critics agreed it was too superficial to trouble the jury.
Two films have bombed.
Filipino Brillante Mendoza’s "Kinatay," about a criminology student who witnesses a brutal rape and torture, drew mostly negative reviews, while von Trier, winner of the Palme d’Or in 2000, had audiences dropping their jaws with Antichrist.
The movie’s graphic scenes of sex, violence and self-mutilation drew gasps at a press screening, derisive laughter broke out at key moments and a smattering of applause at the end was drowned out by booing.

Storyline

Plot Summary:This true story follows FBI agent Joe Pistone as he infiltrates the mafia of New York. Befriending Lefty Ruggiero, Pistone (under the name Donnie Brasco) is able to embed himself in a mafia faction lead by Sonny Black. Ruggiero and Pistone become tight as the group goes about collecting money for ‘the bosses’. Eventually, the group become big time when Black himself becomes a boss, all the while Pistone collects evidence. However, the trials and tribulations of the undercover work become more than Pistone can bear. His marriage falls apart and to top it off, the mafia suspect a mole in the organization. The real dilemma is afforded to Pistone, who knows if he walks away from the mafia, Ruggiero will be the one punished.
